Books that Would be Awesome Band Names

To me, there really aren't a lot of great things about weeding, minus the ability to evict any dust mites that may have made homes in our literature. But if there is one thing I love doing, is looking at book titles and making note of them for their appeal, oscurity, dated or, in this post, their potential awesomeness for a band name.

Here are my Top 10 choices:

Hi Tech Babies
The Princess of Neptune

This reminds me of a conversation I had at a party at ALA Midwinter with someone who said they had fun thinking of fun names for bands with librarians in them. The ones I remember as funniest were:

Dewey and the Decimals &
The Boolean Operators

I've always thought 'industrial melanism' (though I don't think there's an actual book but I haven't looked on Worldcat), would be a great band name. And 'fractious babes,' but again, probably no book entitled that...
